Antonia Francesch - Ballet Dance Class
Antonia Franceschi - Royal Opera House

TEACHER

Antonia's ballet class places emphasis on placement, precision, speed, and musicality, passing on knowledge from her brilliant teachers Margaret Craske, Alfredo Corvino, Balanchine, Maggie Black, Suki Shorer, Stanleys Williams, David Howard, Tina Bernal Julio Horvath and Hilary Cartwright.

Her class suits all forms of dance. It sets you up for the day and prevents injury while improving the instrument. Its uncluttered approach allows for all techniques and styles.

Antonia adores teaching professionals from companies: The Royal Ballet, Scottish Ballet, Alvin Ailey, Rambert, New York Theatre Ballet, as well as freelancers and students from all techniques. She believes in a strong uncluttered musical base with an emphasis on lines. Technique is a means to freedom which makes way for expression; the artist.

"Antonia is an extraordinary teacher both with my own company and at the Royal Ballet. She teaches with a grace, thoroughness and positivity that is truly motivating and at the same time with a directness and incisiveness that empowers dancers to change"
